If he is someone you dont really know or who is just a friend you hang out with with other friends around, dont just come out with you love him...........its sure to scare him!

Instead, have a little chat with him, tell him you really like him and what are the chances of going out somewhere just the two of you. The worst he can say is but he should still be flattered and respect you for your honesty.
