hi all, i met someone a cupple of months ago and it was going pretty well, but last month or so were rough and i wanted to end it many times but didnt as i felt he was too needy and always made me hang on in the end, he also said i was better than any other person he had met and the last girl was nothing but a desperate, lonely, cheating ar5ehole (chubby too) but still friednly so i put up with her out of pity...... anyway, last 3 weeks, ive been really convinced that i needed a break and tried to break it off again, and thought i had made it clear some time ago but he doesnt seem to let go...... i think a break would be best for both of us.... for now. i just dont know how to make him see this???

Really we get in relationships to have fun and enjoy ourselves, and if love should come along then that is a bonus.
If you need time away then you need to tell him in simple English. Don't dance around your point, and don't sugar coat it at all. Be honest and to the point, but not cruel. Pick your time carefully and let him know what you are still comfortable with and where you feel you are going together.
Staying unhappy because he is needy isn't doing anyone any favors.
