Well I guess he's not going to be able or want to take much out with him.

He might get homesick so why not a recording of all his friends and family saying hello on a video camera?

Or if you're not quite that close how about a CD of music you've listened to together?

It's nice and personal but also practical for packing.

Guess it depends how much you want to spend. You might want to check it out first though. Would they have the facilities to charge an ipod?

well its abt 200$ here not too bad and i do wanna get him something he can use; his last one got blwn up in iraq the last time he was there. plus i suck @ burning cds lol
