My mate has been seeing a bloke who has to ask his girlfriend whether its ok to go round to hers. I find this really weird. He has been with this girl for 3 years but she lives abroad and so she says that she wants him to have fun and be with someone while they cant be together. Does anyone else find this strange? Last weekend they called things off because even though the girlfriend said it was ok she kept sending nasty messages about it, this weekend he says she's fine about it again.

yes thats odd. if his girlfriend abroad wants to make it work why let him see other women?

if she doesnt want him then let him move on, surely she cant be doing it to have some sort of hold over him can she?

and whats wrong with your friend? why would she want to have her relationship puppeteered by another girlfriend?

God knows. She was up for a bit of fun so went with this bloke, then next thing the girlfriends sending texts saying, 'hope you're happy laying there with her' my mate has called it all off, I just wondered why you would go out with someone and let them do that
Not healthy.

But then again who am I to talk lol
No way - sounds a very odd set up. The gf sounds a pork pie short of a picnic to me!!
Maybe she thinks it's the only way she can 'keep hold' of him?
