Stressing1 baby update

Hi Guys
just thought I'd give an update seen as you all helped calm me down and gave some good advice, the nipple tweaking I'm still not sure about! :-)
Robert is now three weeks old and an absolute angel, if angels have red hair! He's the image of his Dad, he's a real mini me and they have such a lovely strong bond. They spend hours cuddling and staring at each other. It took me a while to bond with Robert, I was in labour for such a long time and towards the end his heart rate dropped and he was dragged out with forceps. It felt like a real let down that i couldn't do it myself and the pain while i was in labour and after he was born was amazing, I couldn't hold him or feed him properly, his Dad had to do everything. I then picked up an infection and we were in hospital for 10 days. We were in a barrier room on our own and I didn't step out of the room in all that time except to have scans and x rays. The doctors still don't know what was wrong with me, but thank god Robert never got it. We're home now and he's settling in well. My daughter, Olivia thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread, she's forever kissing him and cuddling him and singing to him! After everything that happened I thought I wouldn't go through that again and I'd be happy with two children, but over the last two days I've started thinking about having another baby. Unfortunately I have to wait and see what the hospital says as during labour my uterus ruptured and I may not be able to have more children. I'm going to remain positive though. Fingers crossed!

Im not sure about angels but cherubs certainly have red hair, Im sure hes gorgeous!
Sorry to hear you had a rough time of it, but great to hear things are now going very well indeed for you all.
Heres hoping that you get the all clear to have another baby. Its amazing how quickly you forget the trauma of birth considering how bad it can get.
Best wishes! xx

I feel like I'm mad!
Especially at 4am!
I was feeding Robert the other night, just looking at him and he was looking up at me with these huge blue eyes and we sat like that for about half an hour, just looking at each other, it was then I realised I do't want a daughter and a son, I want sons and daughters (yes I know, a very popular Australian soap in the 80's!) I want a house full of noise and people and love. Not that I wouldn't have that with just two children, but I definately want to expand my family. Just have to get the all clear from the doctors
