Anyone watching this programme? What are your toughts so far?

I've only seen the asian family so far, and I have to say, it seems to be all down to the father to decide! The poor lady doesn't want anymore...
I haven't got any myself, but I do want a couple eventually. No more though, as I don't think you can dedicate yourself to them as much, and offer them as much if you have more, both emoptionally and financially.

Me too Boo...Just found out the man has been unemployed for 3 years!!!
Im not watching it but I do think after a certain amount of children the quality of parenting is bound to suffer as well as the finances!
Mr Funny comes from a family of 12 siblings.

And he hated every minute of his childhood.

And his Mum, is always in denial about how many children she has, when he was little, Mr Funny always had to lie about how many brothers and sisters he has.
Also when people in conversation with her find out about how many there are and they are astonished, she is very aggressive.

The man was arguing that he can't find work because of his being a muslim....FFS!!!

1/ that's bullcrap, it's probably just that he doesn't want to do anything that will pay less than the benefits they receive, don't you think?
2/ why have yet more kids then???

Sorry, but!!!
Isn't the "unemployed" one the one who was just arguing about working to support his kids, I'm confused!
I must add my in laws are now both retired, well one dead, but they both worked very very hard and still things were lacking!

My mum had 11 brothers and sisters. Only 3 of them came to my nan's funeral...

My mum, being one of the older children, was not allowed to go to school past the age of 13, and had to go to work so she could give ALL her wages to her parents.
To me, it's sick. Sorry.
Yea!
And saying he does work, on producing more kids!
Which by the sounds of it his wife doesnt want!!

Anyone else thinks he sounds like Johnny Vegas!?!
A lot of it is down to the welfare system, more kids, more money. Child benefit should be restricted.

It's just pure selfishness, I don't know what that man is trying to prove?? But has he given a thought to what all these kids are going to do later? Does he have the money to at least help them all through Uni, or college? I think not!
I agree Max, Mr Funny had to have over his wages too when he started working at 16.

He is very very cool to his Mum now.
I'm as agog as BOO I think , I don't want to watch it but can't help myself , can't turn it over , I really can't understand the father of 11 s attitude .
agree with shaking
Are there multiple births involved or have they had that many kids one after the other?

Missed the beginning watching something about romanian card machine fraudsters!

See Funnygirl, my mum was actually one of the 3 who helped my grandma at the end of her life, when she couldn't clean, wash, go shopping. She was there 7 days a week, along with one of her sisters who happened to be a nurse, so was in charge of the medication and personal hygiene. Noone else bothered. My mum was never resentful, as far as I can tell, bless her. I'm the one who was, on her behalf.
Max, one day their turn will come!
one after another, he needs a vasectomy. Will you do it Dr.Filth?
My parents had 8 of us , and neighbours either side of us growing up had 10 and 13 . The milkman who lived round the corner had 9 , busy street eh ...lol
