When a girl likes you?
17 Answers
There is this new sexy instructor girl working at the gym I just joined. I really really fancy her. My friend thinks she fancies me. I'd like to ask her out on a date but I need to be sure she likes me as I'm so scared of being rejected. She talked to me a lot during the gym induction and smiled a lot. When I finished she started saying how I'd been working out for a long time. When I was talking to my mate I noticed her talking with her friend. They were both looking at me funny and giggling. The day after I was looking at her walking around the gym and she noticed me and gave a massive smile. Yet when I went to talk to her another time she was a bit cold. Does she fancy me? I'm completely clueless. Any help girls / guys?

Christ - it was a GYM INDUCTION, what do you expect her to do, scowl at you tell you to go jump under a bus? Of COURSE she smiled and told you you looked like you'd worked out - it's her job to be friendly to the people she works for!!! I doubt very much that she fancies you, she has given you no signals over and above being friendly to gym members. Trust me, I'm a woman and the other people in this thread are men, and no offence but they don't have a clue.
Hey, I'm a young woman and I'll tell you that we have a tendency to giggle with our friends and look funny at guys we're interested in. Though I'm married now, I used to get a little nervous around a guy I'd fancy and at times I could come off downright uninterested. I may have chatted with a guy but then next day I'd get all tense and could barely even smile. Take it easy and don't seem too into her, but give it a go atleast for yourself. Don't be too forward though, because if things don't work out you want to still be able to go to your gym! But the signs sound good to me.
it is a gym though, instructors flirt with the clients to get more work off them - its just what gyms are like, she wants you to pay for some personal training not to propose. Depending on what gym it is there is often a no dating the customers rules - sorry this isn't the advice you wanted but please bare in mind we all have different perspectives on issues put to us, if you only want to hear suggestions to agree with please don't post.

No not the world Pheonix, just men that continually hit on me when I have given NO signals and am just doing my job, or simply being platonic friendly. It makes no odds to them that I am married and it never occurs to them their attention is unwanted.
My husband NEVER assumed I fancied him when I met him, even though he is the most gorgeous, intelligent, funny man on the planet and also the least arrogant. Men like that always get the women they want.
I agree unfortunately, women find it very hard to appear friendly without blokes assuming they will let them into their pants. But then most blokes simply lack class. You could always take it as a compliment pishdecoof - it won't change anything but maybe it will brighten up your day and not ruin it.
i don't 'hit' on girls. i just wanted 2 no if she liked me. u cant tar every guy wiv the same brush pishdecoof. and funnily enuf u probably do give off loads of signals wivout knowing. so indirectly it is ur fault. i never once assumed she fancies me. u need to calm down. but either way congratulations on ur marriage, they say direct opposites attract dont they?
touchy, love the interest you've stirred up pheonix, nice one. fancying people is weird, admitting it is hard. she might, she might not, she might think she does, but isn't sure. you should ask her for a drink if she says no, c'est la vie and if she says yes she could still change her mind! These are the complications of women, it's hard for a guy to understand but try actually being a woman and being this complicated, what a pain in the a**e!
