0 Answers
I have been playing piano since i was 4 years old, and when my parents began to have problems, and issues at home, the classes were forcefully stopped because they couldnt handle doing everything, not like they didnt want me playing but it was complicated...i played for almost 7 years of my life. (til i was almost 10). and now I wish i could take it back for the passed 5 years....yes im only 15...but id appreciate it if you still answered me..for those 5 years of my life that i ad to go through numb to music classes....i started to forget everything i learned...sad and unfortunate but true....and i was inspired by a song, to start playing again in 6th grade....though ive forgotten almost everyting that had to do with reading and writing....i still played...by ear...and i know most people do .....i have recently started back in classes this year....im starting to gain back eveyrthing i lost...and im happy about it...i only wish i would of done it sooner....and never quit it....Reading has always been hard for me....but with a long time to focus, and concentration on the music i can slowly get my way through...i have recently started to try and compose music....its small..and its not much AT ALL...just a few measures....but im glad im getting better at it.....im curious though....if i mostly play by ear....would this get me anywhere.? its hard to get a job in the future..or get recommended for anything when you can hardly read...and i know its important ....but i wanted to know if its possible that anyone or anywhere..regarding the Art of Music, and Band, and Symphonic Events.....Would i ever be able to do it? with most of my knowledge being only through sight, and sound? ....
