I got involved with an amazing girl unlike any other over the summer. I knew she was moving soon, but I just couldn't stay away. We still text from time to time and agree that we NEVER thought it would be so hard to move on. All I ever seem to do is think about her now. No girl has ever made me feel this way and it sucks so bad cuz I'm starting to think I've fallen in love with this girl. how do I move on?...if I can

I'd just come out of a 5 year long distance realtionship and never thought i'd find love again. I had to say goodbye to her 2 weeks later. I flew to see her after for another 3weeks. I left to catch my flight in NY , missed her so much , changed my flight and hopped back on a bus to see her. That was Sept. I flew back for 10 days in November. Now she is coming to be with me in a few weeks. It can work. skype , gchatting etc help but if you love the girl give it a go. Nothing to lose.
you can move on as long as you want to. We will all meet that one person we think is the one we love but we don't really know everything about them which makes it kinds mysterious but in reality distance relations aren't always good because you lack a mayjor part in a serious relationship. The physical part and the attractions. Yes sometimes distance does wrk out but mostly it doesn't. Just don't worry you will find that special girl when it's time . Goodluck buddy.

Moving on is not that easy, it will take time until you are completely over this girl. Have you thought about trying to make it work as a long distance relationship? I know this option is not easy either but I believe it is worth the try. If in the end you decide that is better to move on then just take your time, focus on things you enjoy doing, meet with friends, practice sports... with time you will see that you think about her less and less. Good luck!
