Anyone speak man?

Am going through a bit of an upheaval in my life at the moment and matters are being more confused by my feelings towards a guy I know. Thought I'd get some others' advice on the situation to try and work out where, if anywhere, I should go from here as I just have so much else going on I don't want any further complications if I can help it.

Ok...he is a newish member to my social group, met him just before Christmas but it was a while before I got chatting to him and realised how lovely he is and it's just grown from there, including now a serious physical attraction as well.

He is very much a gentleman and we initially started to get to know each other other coffee after work with other friends and other social stuff.

We then started meeting up just the two of us and have done a few times now, the latest being tonight and usually either coffee, something to eat, the cinema etc...

We text on a daily basis, every day for quite a while now and he says some lovely things and things which, to me, aren't things you would just say to a friend eg. that I'm beautiful inside and out, why am I single, he loves spending time with me...

Perhaps he'll miss you while he's away, and when he gets back he'll make a move then.

Lets hope so :) He is back Sunday I think and might see him out Sunday night.

Guess it depends how tired he is though as he was really tired tonight after a long week, I said it was fine if he wanted to head home earlier and get some rest but he said he wanted to spend time with me (swoon!) as I hadn't seen him since briefly Sunday when we met up for a quick something to eat.

If he really likes you so much, and from everything you've said, sounds as though he has waited and taken things slowly and could be wanting to make a move but just afraid of you not feeling the same as him ect so maybe drop few hints in a text, and don't just wait for him to make the 1st move, no harm in you making it.

He may well be frightened of being rejected, after his recent experience. The comments about being in touch with other girls are probably code to show that he is not against another relationship, but he daren't ask directly. The amount of time and contact he is having with you is not just est mates, for heaven's sake!

Sometimes you need to turn the key in the ignition if you want to go anywhere, so just tell him gently and get the vehicle on the road!

Seems like I might need to be a little more obvious and maybe make a move myself although am still hoping it just happens.

To be fair he really is a gentleman and that is one of the things I love about him. I remember thanking him and telling him he was a gentleman for waiting with me for me to get my bus to make sure I got home safe, even though his was there.

He replied that a real gentleman would have escorted me home then made his own way home....swoon!

maybe the bit of time away from you will make him a bit more urgent in making a move?

Well, he's back :) He came out with a group of us last night which I was pretty amazed at having just spent a lads weekend in Amsterdam and he'd not been to bed for 36 hours...he definitely has stamina ;)

Hopefully seeing him later today, said for him to give me a call once he has had some sleep and got salsa tomorrow and both want to go and see Iron Man 2 which is out this week, also really need to get that date set for dinner at mine!
