My mates are always banging on about internet date sites, saying its not just for weirdo's, do you think this is true, and if so can you recommend any?

match.com? Anyone that you have to pay for and dont get anywhere on a free profile. That usually negates most of the nutters/idiots.

Marriedbutcheating.com is a very bad website, and it's unadvisable to sign your wife up when you found out she been a harlet whilst you were away in Afghanistan etc. The police take quite a dim view on it as well :(

I have never used one, but I think its proably the same as your local pub.

20 blokes - 15 you wouldn't touch with a barge pole - 1 looks nice but hes a nutter - 2 you would but there married which leaves 2.

In a pub you can probably sort this out in an hour or so but on a dating site you have to talk to all of them to find the 2

No I don't think it is just for weirdos. It's just a new and modern way of meeting people. Not all people have the opportunity to meet people of the opposite sex in their daily lives and not all people frequent bars and clubs and the sort of places a lot of young people hang out.

You have to be careful obviously, but you have to be careful about any new people you might meet.

I think they are great for people who are adult enough to know the pros and cons and not suitable for very young people.

Can I recommend any - well 'no', I have been married to the same man for near on 40 years!!

Some of the ladies at work went on the dating site which Friends Reunited had just started up.......found a stunning looking young lady and persuaded this guy we worked with to go for it...........they've been married for 5 years now.

the problem with places like illicitencounters steve is the types of people you meet are all up for casual fun, it wouldnt be a place you would want to find a long term love interest. I would have no respect for any of the cattle that market themselves up for "no strings fun"

I think there are weirdos in all walks of life and the internet is no worse or different. Generally weirdos are just like background noise and can be filtered out.
