i do think it helps being a bit different, not totally opposite but in a relationship i think there always has to be someone to run it. Im the branier one so do all bills etc and usually the decisions but my partner is very handy so does all the work makes things for house etc. I think if people are the same there can be a lot of arguments.

My partner and I had hardly anything in common when we met. I moved in with him within two months of meeting him, nearly 9 years later we are still together =)

We look nothing alike but are very similar. Our sense of humour is identical.

At a family funeral recently my Mums cousins thought he was another cousin because he looked like them. It wasn't until it was pointed out to me did I notice. He is shockingly similar to them.

Mr LL and I have similar views on things in general which helps, but as far as personality is concerned with are very different. He is quiet and very deep and I am noisy and more up front with my feelings. We are hardly Darby and Joan though!! (understatement!!) Still, after nearly 40 years something must be right.

Do we look alike, well I don't really think so, except we are both tall and fair and I haven't got a beard or a receding hair line!!

Yes, we are.
There are subtle differences though..........she's 5 years older, shorter, has brown eyes to my blue and is Scottish, whereas I'm not..........but apart from that..........!!! :D

Have been out with complete opposites, and very similars, But strangely my ex husband, and housemate ex f partner are incredibly similar not in looks but personality and attitudes, they even have a lot of mannerisms in common. I don't especially believe in horoscopes but they are both Virgo and fit the general type really well being fussy, meticulous perfectionists, but very loyal

I am just about a complete opposite to my boyfriend he is very much the traditional gentlemen where women should not carry heavy bags and all that rubbish whereas i have a few more feminist views and i like to struggle and do things for myself. About the only things we do have in common is out taste in music!

i could not be more opposite from my boyfriend...i mean everything...we have absolutely nothing in common and even actively dislike certain things...but for some reason it seems to work...

i have wondered if perhaps we should split, because maybe in th elong run things would become problems...and some things offend me or drive me mad...but its now been a year and a half...

The only thing similar between me and my fella is height, although I am about an inch taller then him. I'd be worried if we did look a like with him being 16 years older then me!

We have very different taste in music, and films, but our opinions on most other things seem to be pretty much the same. :-)
