I certainly don't !

I have a choice tonight of Chorizo, goats' cheese and sundried toms.. or a kebab.

Alternatively, I could send out for a Chinese or a Curry. Either way, I would never dream of cooking a full-blown meal on a Saturday evening.

What's your choice of Saturday night fayre?

I agree, its traditional to have a takeaway on a saturday night in my book, having said that I had pasta this evening....

I rarely eat pasta. Having said that, I've provisionally agreed to cook a lasagne for tomorrow.
Why is Saturday night any different than the rest of the week? It's dinner time, I cook dinner :)
Cook my own curry
We had a kebab last night, it was lovely - we cooked chicken caccatiore with rice tonight. I didn't use to eat pasta NoM, but I take it for lunch now - it keeps me going throught the afternoon - beforehand I used to start to fade away about 4pm.

Karen.... I don't work w/ends, so I guess I don't feel inclined to cook.
Spaghetti Carbonara for me tonight. Just wish I'd had some wine to go with it.

Sounds lovely, Jan. I guess I'm a tad lazy at weekends, thus I'm unprepared to fuss around with food and tend to just buy stuff that's ready to eat.
you can get very decent readymade stuff in the supermarkets for a couple of quid - bang it in the over and there you go. It what I tend to do on weeknights.
Don't blame you Nomercy. I like to go out for Sunday lunch. Fancy the carvery tomorrow.
These days I cook only when I'm in the mood, Could be whatever day....

Boxy... I love "picking" food. I adore duck rolls, tempura prawns.......... anything that I can just pick up with my fork..
Just had Ainsley Harriott Thai chicken and lemongrass cuppa soup. Very tasty and marked down to 55p for 4 sachets due to crumpled box!

Society... I love cooking, but will not do it on a Saturday. For me, Saturday is takeaway/junk food night.

I would cheerfully spend hours cooking on a sunday, so long as my mother or Nan kept refreshing my wine glass.... ;-)
I cook every evening, and I love it!
I always cook on a saturday, often for me and mum, and when it's his birthday, a steak for dad (he has to have steak every saturday).

Jan.... I love a carvery now and again. I used to go to Monroes in Benitatxell. :-)
I don't think you're lazy - it's nice to relax. Tonight we had pork paprika from the freezer. I usually make loads of whatever I'm cooking and freeze it in batches and then, like tonight, just have to heat it up.

Pru... I adore cooking, but just refuse to do it on a Saturday.

Molly... I could have murdered a steak tonight. I probably could do with some red meat.
LOL Molly does your dad celebrate his birthday every Saturday? :-)

NoMercy, I used to LOVE to cook. I don't know what has happened to me now. Maybe I'm getting old. -;(
