Sexy Pictures

I wondered if anyone could give me any tips or hints on taking some sexy but classy pictures for my fiance. I'm quite big so any which would complement a fuller figure would be great.

To get a decent flapshot, use an overhead incandescent light, set the white balance accordingly and use macro.

Those instructions might work when taking pictures for eBay, AP, but using a camera's 'macro' setting for portraiture would be a disaster. It leads to distortion, making those parts of the face or body closest to the camera look over-sized:

With my pure, sweet and innocent mind, I read AP's post as 'flash shot'. Now that I've re-read it, he might well be right but, in all the years that I was in the Royal Photographic Society, I was never called upon to take a 'flapshot' ;-)

If you are serious then find a local (female) photographer who does boudoir shots. My cousin does them and they are really tasteful and she makes her customers feel really relaxed and at ease which shows in the photos. They usually take along a few outfits and some make up and they'll have a glass of wine and a giggle during the shoot.

Go for "less is more". Sexy does not equal explicit.

Do your hair, do your make up. Sit facing the back of a chair (with a nice silky throw or something over it). Naked apart from a string of pearls and a pair of satin gloves - but using the chair to hide the bits that really shouldn't be seen in public. Look directly into the camera. Smile. Then use photoshop to sepia or b/w it.

Variations on a theme of the above will work. DON'T show too much flesh. The suggestion of what lies beneath should be the greater part of the study.

if you want some really good tasteful ones then booking a photographer and have them done is a studio is best. Ive recently done some for my partner wearing basques and negligees, sounds slutty but they were very tasteful and ive have many compliments over them and im not one for liking pictures of myself iether. They were that tasteful that i even showed my mam! I stuck to some simple rules of wearing black with a little sparkle, no pornstar pouting for camera, natural looking make up, well dramatic eyes but everything else simple. And natural poses, such as me looking in the mirror, putting on stockings,sitting on a chair looking out of window. Ive even said now that im going to lose another stone after xmas and have some nudeish ones done for his birthday (im going to be covered with a figure 8 chair) , not full frontal nudity mind you lol.
