Look, I know there are a lot of people worried about their weight and I am putting forth a lifestyle that worked for me and saying if you want to try it, then try it. If not, don't. You must avoid snack foods like crisps and sweets which I assume is obvious seeing as this is a diet.
Do what I suggest in this post and do not stray, if you wish to lose your weight. I don't really want any negative talk about this being unhealthy or whatever, because I think it works and as I say do it, or don't.
Mainly you are going to avoid...
1. Bread
2. Potato
3. Pasta
4. Rice/Noodle
Breakfast
2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 egg, dollop of sauce(not necessary)
Lunch
Matteson sausage/ salmon/tuna/chicken with mayonnaise /boiled eggs, any meat.
Dinner...Let's do 7 nights, and there is a lot of salad involved, as in have salad with any choice. Salad is Lettuce, tomato and onion.
1. Ommelette with cheese and ham
2. Fish
3. Steak
4. Lamb
5. Pork
6. Chicken
7. Same as breakfast
Change the order about to suit yourself. All above with or without salad, but realise there are no crisps, sweets or biscuits involved.
If you want a snack you can have peanuts and if you like em, pork scratchings, but NO sweets, crisps or the like, as this is a diet.
Finally, and as importantly, exercise. Go for a walk, take your partner if available. Go on a bike. Go swimming. Go running. Just go out and do stuff, keep using up your energy. Try to go to bed early(before 12 midnight) and get up early (before 8am). Make time for this. By the way watching Eastenders or Coronation Street does not count as a proper excuse against the exercise.

Well as we have lost our resident dietician I will be following this slavishly. I hope to gain a few pounds.
Forgot to mention everything will be between sliced bread.
It's just a diet cutting out carbs.....nothing new there.
Nuts and pork scratchings (yuck) are actually quite fattening.

If I ate all that lot i'd probably put on a couple of stones in a month. lol
Isn't this the Atkins diet ?
It is pretty much just the Atkins, although that didn't allow salad in the first 2 weeks.
You may think that discussing the content of your suggested diet is unhealthy, but I thought the point of a good diet was to include a good balance of the right things to eat. You obviously have it in for carbohydrates. Is not some of the food you recommend high in cholesterol? Vegetables and fruit seem to be restricted to onion and tomato. Was this diet recommended to you by a doctor or dietican, or is it just somehting that you decided for yourself? Has it not occurred to you that some people wishing to lose weight may have other health issues which might not be helped by this particular diet you have chosen to share with us?
My points are meant as positive ones which other readers may wish to consider.
There's a pyramid of merangue filled with choc cream & side mini trifle going begging here :(
too late, I've eaten it
Hmmmm................don't forget to stock up on heavy duty mouthwash and extra strong mints. No carbs = death breath!!!!!
Oooops! Silly me.......you're not allowed extra strong mints!
Not just bad breath katy, it causes flatulence as well. It also makes you really tired as you are getting no sustainable energy from complex carbs.
On the upside, ladies, no mention of liquids is made in this diet. So, after my usual quota of Courvoisier and coffee chasers I shall neither notice nor care about any flatulence. I am liking this diet more by the minute ;o)
So, heavy duty mouthwash, air freshner and super strong coffee.......
You have two thirds of my normal daily diet there, Katie.
After a millennium on milk stouts I would have thought that flatulence became rather a way of life, Ena.
Mike, stand in front of the bull's eye whilst I get the bottles out for recycling please ☺ Millenium - pah!
There's one type of exercise missing at the end: Go take a running jump.
in other words, the atkins diet
long term excluding food groups can cause you to crave foods, you will discover this over time, this is a quick fix atkins diet, however like most diets that exclude a large amount of foods the effects are temporary.
