Iam afraid the girl will do something to herself........
18 Answers
May be iam imagining things. Iam asking this question because iam sensitive towards girls.Since my current company is going to sink, i had no other way than to give false commitments to the HR girl who had interviewed me.
The new company made use of Bad position of my company and urgent need of job to me. They had not agreed for the salary i had requested. They fixed the salary 10% lower than what i was getting now........
Next thing is that after everything is finalised they said you need to sign a Bond for 2 years.
I was shocked why they are saying it at the end of interview. They should have said it in the beginning itself.
But i thought its better to work under bond than to be jobless. So i said ok for all the things the girl had asked.
Now i got a new job.
I dont want to join the company with 2 years bond. So i have decided to ignore that offer and join the new company.
Problem is that i have made so many false commitments to the girl who had interviewed me. She asked me whether will you come after 10 days and say "iam not willing to join since i got a new offer". I said that i wont do like that.
But Now iam going to do the thing which the HR girl doubted, because i have no other way.......
It has been three weeks since i got offer letter from them. If i reject their offer iam afraid that it will affect the girl and inturn i feel that she will commit suicide(i feel iam imagining a lot). And i feel that police will file a case against me.
Iam confused due to this.
1)What is the possibility the girl will commit suicide?
2)Is it possible for the police to file case against me?. In case if it is possible what will be the punishment i will get?
Please advise me on this.........

Hi sathy....I have noted your surprise at my lack of comment.
My advise is for you to stop being over-sensitive about everything and letting your imagination run riot.
I am pleased that you are settling into AnswerBank and feel sure you will find that sensible questions will get helpful answers and a feedback to respondents is important.
You may feel that I am too outspoken on issues. Well be that as it may; we can always agree to disagree.
Best wishes.......Ron.

Hi again sathy.....I hope you don't mind my shortening your username. Please call me Ron which is my real first name and, if you drop the tittle Mr. I feel sure we will get on well with each other. For your information Viv is my wife and our username enables either of us to post in AB. by appending our individual names.

Sathya, of course she won't commit suicide. HR people are used to this. All you need to do is write back to them and say that you have decided not to take their job, you have no need to say why. It happens all the time. They will be annoyed with you, but that's an end to it. You need to do it now though - so they can offer the job to someone else.
