Onwards and Downwards Continues in June
Hi Everyone,
We were looking forward to the warm weather in last month's thread, well we got it didn't we?
Interested to hear about Jan's new wobbler and whether it does the job. Has anyone else done any unusual excercise recently or in the past and has it worked or was it just a bit of fun?
Here is last months thread

Welcome aboard Islasmum... you hit the nail on the head about needing inspiration when the novelty of loosing weight wears thin. This is our strong point that we can help you get focused again. I hope we will work for you.

Well done to anyone who has lost weight - I went to SW for the first time yesterday and they seem quite a pleasant group - I'm amazed at how much you can eat - so I'll try and be good with fruit and veg but the things I'll miss will be cheese, butter and mayonnaise - I realise that you can have them in moderation, but seriously - a matchbox size piece of cheddar cheese?! but I'll try! Am being very bold tomorrow and changing my hair colour, from a highlighted blonde to a warm coppery colour - hope that it looks as nice on as it does in the picture!
Notafish staying the same is better than a gain . I sometimes stay the same too long then have to change around my eating. Works. I find sometimes I am not eating enough
Islamum yes it is surprising how much you can eat. This is my problem sometimes so this week I am changing around my eating.
Unsweetened grapefruit juice has always worked for me Kiki and well done with your loss. I also find it stops me craving for sweet things. I have proved this for myself because if I don't drink it every day I find myself being dragged to the cake isle when I go supermarket.
I am going to aim at more veg this week and cut down on the salad unless it is really hot weather. I am inclined to use too much dressings with salads.

Notafish I don't think you can win with any dressings. What you lose on the low fat content you gain on the carbs so to me it is a losing battle with them. At the moment I have the kraft light thousand island dressing. Also Mayonnaise is not so low as you think some of the low salad creams are lower.
We have a lot of creme fraiche type of dairy products here with lo fat content 6% and down. I use these to make dressings, adding garlic, chopped spring onions and other herbs that I like. I saw that there was a very lo fat creme fraiche in my Overseas Iceland in Spain that was an product from the UK.....just an idea for those who like salads....
