Just reading an article in my paper and was reminded that the older lady took Iain's baked Alaska out of the freezer,so guess it wasn't him to blame for it being a disaster,my first instinct would have been the same as his, I felt so sorry for him.

Why are beards mor unhygienic than hands (which touch an awful lot of things all the time!)

The lady who took his alaska out should have been sent home for misconduct. Very unsporting.

Yes I agree........and she should have gone not him or that other man whi just scraped through..you could see by her face she knew she had done wrong..If it was me I would have owned up and said to the judges it was my fault. And I would have done just like he did in frustration..or tipped it over her.!!

She has left the show anyway, apparently she fainted and has lost her sense of taste and smell, the episode being discussed was filmed some weeks ago.Iain was on 'The Extra Slice' on Friday and brought in a lovely Baked Alaska, great pity really.

Apparently it was filmed in May. Poor old lady was slated (albeit comically) on twitter. But she knew, it was right there on her table and by saying "you have your own freezer" she condemned herself.

Nasty piece of work she was. I'm glad Karma nipped her on the arris and she ended up going out anyway because what she did was spiteful, unsporting and just downright nasty. I felt sorry for Iain ( and there's nothing unhygeinic about beards- what's that all about?)

Not seen the show but: so the issue is someone used someone else's freezer without permission and came a cropper. Not sure I have much sympathy about that.
