I wouldn't say that. There are a few monthly contributors to this section and i'm sure Xstitcher and wendilla don't actually consider that.
Regardless, even if they do, they have some what of a right to, as it seems to me, they've kept this thread afloat for a good while. Along with OG.
My opinion regarding daily weighs is.. The more statistics for analysation the better, and the longer time period the better.
IE, a weigh of 12 stone per day may fluctuate between 11.13 and 12.01, but if you take all the data, and take a step back and focus on the weekends (if you weight every day, then you weigh on weekends also) you can see your weekly weigh in, whilst also being able to "zoom in" to specific days.
Regardless what you're analysing, smaller time frames are just as good as large, if you remember not to focus on specific days, and remember to analyse from a distance, if you get what i mean?
Anyhow.. Let people do it their own way, we're all unique and everyone's situation and reason for weight loss are different. If anything, saltiness is something we can all leave from our diets but more specifically this thread ;P
