Currently, there are no medical literature that suggests that skipping breakfast would shorten your life span. All that is known so far is that MOST people eat breakfast, MOST people like it, and MOST people benefit from it.
But here is an interesting fact to take home with you - more than half the people in America are either overweight or obese, and perhaps everybody who is overweight will tell you,
"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day."
It is perhaps true that the body has its optimal absorption rate in the morning, but you should also bear in mind the body's needs. MOST people benefit from a good breakfast, not ALL. There are such a huge variance amongst people it is hard to tell what is important. Sometimes I eat in the morning, sometimes I don't.
Listen to what your body is telling you.
If its tired, give it sleep.
If its horny, give it sex.
If its hungry, give it food.
There aren't any medical literature out there that says eating less than 3 meals a day will give you cancer, but there are tons of research out there that says eating more than 3 days a day will give you cardiovascular disease.
People believe its better to put crap into the body and then work it out. I personally believe not putting crap into it at all and leave the exercise to leisure.
Don't put crap into your body.
And if you want to know what is crap, ask google, and ask your body. If the body isn't hungry, and you stuff food into it, its going to make you sick (ie. giving you a stomachache), and anything that makes you sick is crap.
Cheers. :)
