Asking on behalf of a friend. What would be the holiday entitlement of someone working 16 hrs a week? Also would they be entitled to any paid sick leave?
Person is single mum to a young girl and starting work this week.
Thank you.

LOL, no. Just wondering what her entitlements were. She has been messed about a lot with the benefits people as she has been working a few hours a week and has had to juggle child care about a lot. She has now managed to secure 16 hrs a week and can now sign off. Just wondering about entitlements thats all.

Her entitlements should be laid out in her contract. paid sick leave is up to the company, some have company pay and some only offer statutory sick pay.
