Universal Credit - Enterprise Allowance

Is anyone familiar with these relatively new benefit schemes?

If someone mentions to their Jobcentre/UC workcoach that they are considering applying for an enterprise allowance in an attempt to become self-employed - how much pressure will they then be put under to proceed asap or to actively pursue the idea asap?

A lot of preparatory research will need to be done before a feasible business idea is put forward and likely to be accepted on the enterprise scheme, so this person does not want to mention it too soon.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any personal experience of UC/EA.
