How Did You Pick Your Username

mine is similar to my given name, why did you pick the
one you use. I have come across some funny ones
and wondered about it.

MAFBOG = Middle Aged Balding Old Git which a very good friend of mine came up with for my team at work.

Way back in 2005 when I joined the mail to sign up got lost and the name mafbog became locked. As I was on the younger side of middle age young mafbog became the name.

Not really so true now ! :-(

Boring I am afraid......my friends call me Mal but that had gone but I was allowed to use Mally J .....my surname beginning with J.....I did not know that there was already a Mally here and am a tad surprised it was allowed! I am hopeless at remembering where I know people from so it is useful..if I am called Miss I used to teach the person , if I am called my real name I probably worked with you (excepting family of course) and if I am called Mal I have probably enjoyed a few glasses of alcohol with you.

I was at a gig once, watching a local pro singer's show.
I'd met her a couple of days before, when I was working on my sax teacher's house.

She looked out at the audience, recognised me, and called out
"Oo, it's the builder"

So, my name isn't Bob, and I don't have a passion for playing "Happy Families". ;o)
