hello, i've started a home cleaning business, the lady i clean for is legally blind, i bought the entrpreneur cleaning book and in it, it states for a maid service to charge $ 45.00, with profit $61.00. what we discussed was , one week i would come in and do the laundry, the other i would do the house cleaning. what i suggested was that when i came in i could start a load of laundry and start my cleaning trying to be nice, well that turned out to be 4 loads of laundry, hers and her husbands, that she wanted me to hang up and put away in the drews. please help me to know how much to charge for this service in the future so i don't feel as if i'm cheating myself. Thank you

With the greatest respect I think that if you are unsure how much to charge for your services you are going to run into problems. Don't be tempted to become a charity for the less fortunate or your business will fail. Have you got public liability insurance or any kind of business plan ??? You need to call around a few similar companies and get an idea how much to charge and then stick to it religiously.
