Should airlines be doing more about lost luggage?
British airways have lost more luggage than any other European airline in the last year according to new figures. For every 1,000 passengers, 23 bags went missing. Also, across the 24 largest airlines, more than 5.6 million bags went missing. Have you had any bad experiences with airlines losing your luggage? Should the airlines be forced to look after passengers' luggage better?

I fly regularly from Ibiza to Barcalona - a 30-50 minute flight and 6 times out of 10 the luggage goes missing and this is without changing planes. Air Europe is one of the biggest culprits! Iberia isn't so good either!
I think the whole 'Check in' process needs a rethink
It was first used when flying was rare and only for the rich, way before modern technology and security issues.
Surely it would be in everyones interest if the process was redesigned, and there was less room for 'Human error', with all major parcel companys you can track online where your parcels are. an automatic system should double check all bags before loading onto a plane and reference the passenger database for missing bags
