i work with my husband who's a locksmith. I handle all emails, work out who needs to pay and how much, i make and send out statements, i deal with all promotional and marketing aspects of the job, i deposit payments into the bank, i check the account to see how much money is going in and out, and many other tasks. I work from home. I have no official qualifications other than 10 gcse's and an a' level if sociology! So what is my job title? Please help...I want to be something in the business and i'm not qualified enough to be company secretary, but i'm more than just a helper!

you can call yourself what you want.....who says you have to be qualified for a position within your husbands company????
As Busybee says - it is up to you. How about Financial Controller?
You can call yourself anything you like.

There are no qualification requirements to be a company secretary though that is a legal term so you can't call yourself company secretary unless (1) it IS a company incorprated at Companies House and not just a trading partnership and (2) you genuinely have been appointed to the role officially by a document lodged at Companies House. But if both of those are the case any halfwit can be a Company Secretary and very few of them have any qualifications at all.
