Student finance refuses funding.

Dear,

I just graduated in Holland as an teacher. This was a teacher training course where after 4 years I received a Bachelor of Education for. This is a professional bachelor so not an academic one.
I applied for funding in the UK with the Student Finance EU Team. Before I applied for an funding for an Marketing study in the UK I contacted the Student Finance office and explained my situation. They told me they will fully fund me for a academic bachelor because my degree is not an academic degree.
Today I got an letter saying that they wont lend me any money to pay my tuition fees because I already have attended higher education in Holland.

My dreams and hopes are burned down with this letter and I wonder if they can refuse to fund me if I never have done an academic bachelor?
Please help.

Although you say it is not an academic degree it is a degree nevertheless obtained after 4 years in higher education in Holland for which I presume you were funded by the Dutch authorities. To do another degree in England would be like having two bites at the cherry so I can understand them refusing to fund you a second time.
