Update

Hi y'all, we are working our way down the Istrian coast of Croatia, beautiful country. Yesterday we were at Novograd and got talked into a cruise down the coast. About 150 on board all went well at first then the rain started, thunder and lightening, torrential. We stopped at a town and got off for 2 hours. The streets were like rivers, it rained for the two hours. Went back to boat for lunch. Had choice of meat or fish, chose fish, we had 2 enormous fish each, the size of a large trout but a bit darker flesh with a sauerkrauty sort of thing. Very good. We were on the boat for about 6 hours with another stop for 1 hour. Eventually got off, went to get bus back to camp couldn't find it, Waited around for half an hour, no go. Had to get a taxi £30 down the drain, never mind it's only money.
Today we have moved further down the coast to Lanterna, a really big campsite, we have a pitch overlooking the bluest sea ever. Weather gorgeous today but 5 minutes ago a wind suddenly got up and went quite parky.
Quite surprised this site has free wifi 24/7. We have been paying £7 for 3 hours at some places.
Anyway enough witterings just thought I would dip in and let you lovely lot know I am in and out.

The weather is exactly the same here Carandog. I put the heating back on yesterday!

You may have had rain, thunder, lightening, wind and parky weather, but at least it is foreign weather which will make a change for you.

It sounds lovely there carandrog despite the rain. Hope the weather picks up, thats the one thing that always put me off camping, but on the other hand you can come and go as you please. Have a good holiday.
