hope this is the right place for this, if someone has 24 hour care, and they had been in receipt of mobility/disability allowance would this stop because the care had been put in place.

do you mean in their own home? As far as i know, dla is stopped if you are an inpatient somewhere ie hospital or hospice(i think for more than 4 weeks) but not if you are in your own home After all, if you are in hospital then everything is already provided, so no need to pay extra for mobility/care. A residentail or nursing home counts as your own home

yes should have said in your own home and you are getting the care for your spouse for 24/7 and you dont contribute to the care
Is the DLA only for mobility, or does it also include the care element of DLA?

Who is paying for the 24/7 care?

Did whoever that is know about the DLA when they made the decision on funding the care?
