What Can Provident Do If You Get Into Arrears?

Hi there
Does anyone know what provident home credit can do if you get into arrears with repayments I am 4 weeks in arrears but can repay next week in full all the arrears I am sitting in the dark avoiding them can they come and threaten me or are they a legitimate company? Should I be honest with them and tell them what has happened or avoid them until next week she keeps phoning me and I am sure she tried to come round last night but I did not answer either
