I am filling in the standard form sent to me in order to get the compensation for the mis-sold card protection policy.

So if there is anyone out there that has filled in such a form, my question is :

Section B asks you "Why you want to be considered for Compensation" and in the covering letter it gives you two reasons why you might be entitled to compensation. Do I use one of those or are they asking for reasons AS WELL AS THOSE?

I have gone on to their website re their FAQs, but that is not one of them.

Thanks in anticipation!

The moneysavingexpert.com offers templates using a rehash of the two reasons provided as examples on the form.

Martin Lewis was talking about this on This Morning.

Just be honest was his advice. It was sold even though your bank would re-I nurse you for fraudulent use. So you didn't need.

LOL

No intention of being dishonest. My question was did they want something EXTRA/OTHER THAN the two reasons.

I wasn't saying you were, Maggoty. Have you watched the clip in my link?

Sorry about the spellcheck. It should have read, reimburse you. Lol
I've had one of those forms, Maggoty. I also was a bit stuck as to what to put as a reason for wanting compensation, but I took the two reasons that they give and reworded them a bit. I couldn't think of anything else to put. Just saying 'Erm, someone said that I might get something' didn't seem to be enough.
