I have just purchased some Euro's from Fairfx, but when it arrived most of the notes are in 50 and 100's. Knowing how difficult it is to change a 50 out there the 100's will be impossible to change.

Does anyone know where I can change them for smaller notes here before I go? I know I will have to pay something for this service so a word of caution for anyone thinking of using Fairfx, there is nowhere on their website that you can say how you want it. grrr.

Where are you going Moony? Any bank in France will change them...

For future reference HiFX will send small denomination notes unless you ask for bigones.

Thanks Shoota, I am going to Corfu so knowing how tight things are out there big denomination notes are out of the question hence the need to change them over here.
Err...excuse me, Moony...you're off to Corfu...and you didn't think to invite me along???.... :-(

Last time I'm ironing all those vests for you!

I was keeping it a secret to surprise you gness, but I suppose you had to find out sometime.
We are off for two weeks staying at a 5* naturist camp site overlooking the sea so don't bother with any luggage a small handbag will do.

I bet you are exited now ain't ya.
I posted a warning of this last Saturday. Did you not see it ?
Bit late now, moony, but not sure why you are taking big money with you - it's so easy just to withdraw it from holes in the walls when you get there. I'd be scared carrying lots of cash about with me :-(
Ooooo...I'm that excited I could crush a grape.....err...what's the handbag for?.....☺
Gotta have something to dance around when it's a full moon(y)
Can you not change them at the bank in Corfu ?
That's quite good, Shoota......☺
How many times have I heard that...?
Dunno.....twice?...☺
