Credit Card Fraud
3 Answers
I have two credit cards with two different companies. Both of them have been breached within the same week. In both cases the companies alerted me to suspicious activity and blocked the accounts, with no loss to myself.
My wallet containing the cards has not left the house in months as I usually only use them for online shopping from my PC, and I am certain nobody has touched them.
I have checked all my online accounts and changed passwords regularly.
Is this just an unlucky co-incidence or maybe something more suspicious is going on?

It seems I bought an expensive TV in Birmingham, had a meal in a riverside resturant on the Thames and then settled various utility bills in Coventry all in the same afternoon.
The best one was I paid an HMRC tax bill for some doughnut.
All the money was returned to my a/c by the bank within 5 days. Never heard another thing about it.
