Hello all. I received a settlement on a previous PPI claim a few years ago now. Recently, the lender in question has sent me a further cheque, advising me that the initial amount they repaid was too low. In the past I have had another 4 claims with different lenders settled and have received payment due. The question is do I now wait for the other lenders to automatically review their refund offers or go through a claims company? (The cheapest company I have found will investigate for 36% inclusive of VAT). Thanks for any advice.

Neither. I'd write to the PPI sellers directly. I am not sure of teh reason why there was a miscalculation- there may not be further payments/corrections due from others unless the calculation rules have changed generally, but it's worth a try. Don't bother with a claims company- you still have to do almost as much work to give the info to the claims company
