Death Of Three Young Ladies Backpacking...

At least i thought it was, see if you guess what it was? About 3 weeks back I had a slight knocking coming from under my car at the front when ever i went over uneven road. It took a couple of days to locate the problem,( the drop links had worn.) Its a pretty easy job to do if your been around cars for some time and a lot cheaper than going to the garage. Got the parts, did the job in an hour, all good.
Driving back from town yesterday i developed a squeaking noise over uneven road. Did what i guess we've all done at some time or other, start fiddling around on the dash pressing and holding, moving things around to find the squeak.
No good this noise seemed to be coming from the back under the car. I thought ***, another ruddy problem.
I had bought a few food items and 6 large bottles of water while i was out, the water at home is a bit rubbish at times to drink. Backed up onto the drive, opened the boot to unload my goodies, guess what the squeak was and how i found out?
so was it the water bottles??
Reminds me of about 6 months ago when I went to get the car serviced and when I was there I asked if they could please try and locate the cause of the incessant beeping that had started the day before. I had switched everything on dash on and off but no joy. Left car with them. When time to collect car I was met with a very bemused mechanic! The mad beeping was due to me putting a really heavy carrier bag on the passenger seat full of books for charity shop, and car had decided that due to the weight it was a person without a seatbelt!!
