Politicians just love spending other people's money. They think it gives them status, it gives them a nice warm feeling of largess, and costs them ........ absolutely nothing!

In addition we need a 'DoGE' to find where the cash has actually been going.  With that amount its an almost certainty there has been corription and theft involved.

When looking at the calibre of some of the people tasked with this job, I've always had an uncomfortable feeling that it would be so easy for the person doling out large sums to foreign, not exactly squeaky clean governments,  to say, "I'll give you 20 million, if you put a couple of them into this Swiss numbered bank account."
