Does anyone know what banks have the following sort codes? 53-22-06 and 08-00-00 and 60-96-03

I wrote some business cheques out in 2004. My accountant says they can't find who I paid them to. My bank can't tell me now (as it's so long ago they don't keep the cheques) who they were made out to but gave me the sort codes in the hope that if I know the branch I may know which company I paid

53 and 60 sortcodes are Natwest, 08 is the Co-Op Bank.
I find it amazing that your bank could not tell you the sort codes of other banks. The sort code identifies the branch and not just the parent bank.
Your bank is telling porkies, they CAN tell you the payee of a cheque. They have a legal requirement to keep paid cheques for a set period - I think it is 6 years but it is definately no less than 3. They will probably be in storage somewhere and the bank staff will have to spend time and effort retreiving them but they can do it. They will probably charge you for the privilege as well.
