Credit Card Debt - 0% Cards
2 Answers
I am what's known as a 'credit card *****' and switch my credit card debt from 0% card to another 0% card when the interest free period runs out.
This used to be every 6 months, now it's looking to be every 9-12 months. I'm very good and I always make a payment. I'm so good that they keep increasing my credit limit.
My question is, if I keep getting new cards, only make one application per period so not many footprints are left on my record, am a reliable payer and always close down the old account will I be penalised in any way for moving my debt around, on my credit file?
