Divide salary by 52 to give weekly pay. Divided the answer by the number of hours you work in a week and this will be the answer.
Example: Salary 10 400 Divided by 52 = 200 (weekly pay) Call this A. Number of hours worked per week 40 call this B, therefore hourly rate = A/B so 200 divided by 40 = 5.00 per hour.
NB The above all refer to GROSS pay.
