Daisy13, most people don`t defraud banks intentionally, you probably pay all your bills at the post office when you collect your pension
In this day and age where most peoples incomes are paid straight into the bank it is very easy to fall behind and get charged 30 by the bank just for them to tell you there were insufficiant funds in your account
And when the next month comes and they take the 30 out which makes another DD payment fail and they charge you again it has a snowball effect
And now that there is a chance to get some of this money back, who needs people like you?
JonRB, I am in the same position, it`s been 2 weeks now and I rang my bank and they said it was due to the high volume of letters and it will take between 4 and 8 weeks, I`m still going to threaten them with court action, they are just using delaying tactics, good luck
