Do you want to get your name off the mortgage or the deeds or both?

The easiest way is to sell the house and pay the mortgage off - what are the circumstances?

i am wanting to get my name off both.my partner and i have split.he will not sell the house so how do i get my name off the deeds and morgage
First step is to go your mortgage company and take their advice. You cannot take your name off the deeds if there is a mortgage in your name - the mortgage company won't allow it.

If push comes to shove you will have to take court action to force a sale - which you are entitled to do.

So, immediate plan of action for you - gather all relevant paperwork. Phone mortgage company for appointment.

Then go to Citizens Advice Bureau.

Then think about the best way forward.

Good luck.
