Hiya,
I have 2 pensions running at the mo and have phoned them becuase i want to freeze them for a few years, Am moving house shortly so any extra cash is greatly needed, Anyway spoke to one of the pension companies today and they said i could only freeze it for 1 year, if i resumed payments within the year i had to oay the back dated monthly charges, The other co said i could freeze without any prob for as long as i like without any back dated payments, Can the first co do this?
Thank a lot

hi jojo. i also had two pensions, one of which i froze for an unlimited period (now been frozen for 4 years without any backdated payments).. i wasn't aware of any limited periods for freezing a pension scheme, maybe it is a specific rule for that particular company?
