My mum has kindly offered to pay off my credit card debts but wants to do it over a few months. As i am getting charged interest she wants to transfer my balances to a new card in her name that will give 0% for balance transfers. Is it possible to do this or can you only transfer balances from cards in your own name??

Thanks in advance for any help

I have transferred balances from another person's credit to mine, but all companies will have their own rules.

Best thing is for your mother to try. Make sure there is no hefty balance transfer fee though.
i know quite a few people in your nposition and they have managed to transfer the balances over. Like ethel said, just get your mum to try and see if they'll do it, best of luck xxx
