They are allowed to charge you for this (max 10) but I sent a cheque to NatWest to pay for mine and they never cashed it. They also have to supply you with the info within 40 days, unter the terms of the data protection act.

Hi, I am one off those people waiting for the out come I am with the Lloydstsb,I am with a Co; that are dealing with my case and they have informed me that the high courts are dealing with the case in January 2008. I had received details from my bank saying that they were looking into my case, 3 weeks prior to them deciding to hold payment, due to the court case
I claimed mine back myself, not using any company (who charge for it!!) Its really easy to do yourself, don;t pay anyone else!
I only sent 2 letters, the one requesting details of my charges and then one claiming them back. NatWest offered me a settlement the day before the hold was put onto claims, but I got paid 820 a few weeks later!
