Free Financial Health Check

Anyone know of a company or institution that currently offers independant free financial health checks? Had similar before from two well known high street financial institutions that offered advice only on what they can or are willing to do for you in relation to their own products. Understandable but cack really!

I would avoid a free financial health check from a High Street financial institutuion like the plague. They will only ever offer their own brand of financial products, many of which will probably be either unsuitable for you, or extremely uncompetitive. As Geoff1057 as intimated, moneysavingexpert.com is an excellent website. It also contains lots of excellent forums where you can get advice and information.
