I separated from my wife three years ago and have recently taken early retirement. I elected to take the maximum lump sum (which I split 50/50 with my wife) and I will pay her half my regular company pension.
If she pays no tax is there any way I can get her half of the pension paid net of tax, or any way in which she can claim back the tax I have paid on her half?
