reclaiming bank charges under hardship waiver
4 Answers
has anyone had any success with the hardship waiver for claiming charges
tsb have taken 1200 charges over last few years, and the account is -697 which 660 is charges.
so i am claiming 1860 in charges with paying them 697 if that makes sense.
i am 2600 in the red with nationwide, 500 in the red with halifax, 4 months in arrears with council tax , and am regulary using credit cards to pay for petrol and food.
i have received a letter from apex credit managemwnt chasing the 697 debt from me.
i have spoke to them and after a long argument they have agreed to hold on proceedings until i get a reply from tsb.
any advise

I know someone who was able to get over 2,000 from Natwest under the financial hardship waiver. They started the process in November 2008 and the payout came in March 2009 (that's right, this month!) Start to finish, 4 months which includes a delay of 1 month.
