Two days running now I have received e-mails from the abbey national that my accounts have been suspended because wrong personal details have been entered.
I wouldn't mind - but I do not even any accounts with them . So how can they write to me and how do I stop getting these e-mails? I tried their web site but could not find a suitable address to get in touch with them.

They send out enormous numbers to anyone & everyone - all the e-mail addresses they happen to have on their computer. I get a lot - & not from any bank I have an account with.
Ignore them. Do not try to contact them - it won't do any good. If you get them apparently from a bank that you do have an account with, ignore those as well. They do not come from the bank, which will never ask you for the details which these people will try to worm out of you if you reply to them.

And another giveaway is that Abbey don't call themselves Abbey National any more.
