Has anyone out there managed to open a HiSave fixed term account with ICICI Bank?
I attempted to open a joint account; found the web site very user friendly. I sent the certified copies of ID documents as requested; then the trouble started.
They said that our driving licences were not full UK licences - they are!
They said that the address on the utility bills did not match the address on the application - it is!
I tried to phone them and got cut off 3 times; emailed to find out exactly what the problem is and got a standard reply reiterating the above.
I have now decided that if it is so difficult to give them funds it would be impossible to withdraw them, so don't think I will take it further.
Does anyone on AB actually have a HiSave account opened?
