i score really low on credit searches though have no ccj's etc. Iwould like a loan but have always been rejected for having a low score, does anyone know where I can get a loan from that does not have rip off interest rates? I am not a home owner, I am a student (ft) and work (pt)

Unless you're prepared for some stupid interest rates, you've got no chance. Low credit score, student, pt worker with no collatoral - you're looking at 30% plus I'm afraid...
If your problem is that you have no history at all, try your own bank. They may be more likely to give you a small loan or a low-limit credit card to help you build up a history, because they can at least see that you have an income, however modest. Assuming of course that you don't keep going overdrawn...
Have you not tried for a Student Loan - or am I out of touch?
